Does The Lichen Striatus Marks Or Scars Ever Go Away?

Does the lichen striatus marks or scars ever go away? It's going to be a year in July since my 6 year old daughter has had it on most of her top forearm. Are therer any creams to use for it? Does it come back? I don't want her to grow up with these marks on her arm. it looks horrible.
