Does The Thyroid Levels Affect The Fertility Of A Person?

Hello sir,
My wife have hypothyroid and her level is at 8. We are planning to have a baby. Will thyroid level have any affect on it? She is taking thyroxin 50 mg per day. We also wanted to visit an endocrinologist... could you please help us?
