Does Upper Respiratory Infection Cause Decreased Urination?

I recently for the past two days have been able to urinate but can t keep a normal flow of it I ve drinking water and going frequently after having a upper respiratory infection can this be a source of the problem? I ve been given an antibiotic steroid to undo the mucus from my lungs and feces and still find it hard to urinate normally
