Does Vaginal Bleeding After A Positive HPT Indicate Miscarriage?

I took an at home pregnancy test yesterday and got a positive result. I have been nauseous. I have been bleeding (about the same amount as I do when I am on my period) since last Wednesday. Does this mean I am having a miscarriage? I would suspect I am only a month into my pregnancy at most.
