Does Vaginal Itching With Reddish Discharge Indicate Yeast Infection?

Last week I had a lot of vaginal itching and I thought I had a yeast infection but was at the lake and unable to get any Monistat. While I was at the lake I also started my period. Now, since I have been home the itching has gone down but now I have this thick whitish reddish discharge. Do I have a yeast infection or should I go get checked out by my gyno? (19 years old, 127 pounds, 5'10, no medical history)
