Does Vaginal Tightness And Delayed Period Indicate Pregnancy?

My vagina is really tight and I feel like it is bruised. And this might be weird but putting my finger in it I can not put it up that far because my vagina feel shorter. My period was due on the 25th of January 2015 and I havent gotten it but took a test today the 1st of January 2015 and it was negative I also have major mood change of really hurt and emotional all the time. Are these really good signs of pregnancy?? My vagina just started feeling really tight and short today? But why would my test be negative if I am pregnant. I hope I am pregnant!!
