Does Vitex And Yam Root Alter Menstrual Cycle?

me and my husband want twins, so I have read about taking vitex and wild yam root will help. So I was on bith control for about two months and I got my normal cycle on the 13 of july, nothing since then. I just started taking vitex and yam root yesterday the 25th. I just want my cycle to start in the next few days, what can i do? is the vitex and yam root messing my cycle up.
