Does Withdrawal Of Dilaudid Lead To Nausea,diarrhea,headache And Anxiety?

My wife who recently fractured T 10 has been living with a brace and dilaudid for pain management. She last took dilaudid Saturday evening and none since. She has been suffering with moderate/severe withdrawal symptoms which include, nausea, diarrhea, stomach/intestinal spasms, headache, anxiety, irritability, the sense of wanting to jump out of her skin, insomnia, weight loss, chills, hot flashes and general malaise. She has no history of drug abuse and only took dilaudid because she was having severe back pain and none of the other analgesics were effective. Are there any medications that can ease her withdrawal symptoms?Just for your information, I am a dentist.
