Dr. I Have Prolapse And Have Only Been 6 Mos.

Dr. I have prolapse and have only been 6 mos. from knee surgery, Would I have to be knocked out to have this test by the doctor. I know I have to go to a doctor but afraid. It is good size and might it require surgery. I can not handle an mri or go in for one, What type of test would the dr. need and also am I awake while test is being done? ThANKS FOR YOUR HELP?????
