Due To The Very Hot Weather Over The Last Few

Due to the very hot weather over the last few weeks I have been suffering from water retention I have been to the doctor who said my blood pressure was high and after an ecg test on Friday I had my blood pressure taken which was 143/70 I don't have the results of my ecg until later today but was sent home with a machine to test my blood pressure regularly over 7 days. my blood test earlier in the week showed my thyroid levels were fine along with my potassium and salt levels being good. My first reading using the machine yesterday morning read 150/64 but I was very nervous about it. When I took my blood pressure later it read 193/88 but the machine kept pumping up showing well over 200 and then dropping down about 10 and 're pumping until very painful so much so zI unplugged it and it kept doing it and hope it is the machine is faulty or I am doing it wrong as I feel ok otherwise.
