Either Just As I Am Falling Asleep Or While Sleeping

Either just as I am falling asleep or while sleeping I have some sort of muscle spasm or twitch which can be fairly violent as itoften wakes me up when my whole body jerks and sometime even causes me to knock over water glasses and other things on the nightstand.
