Ever Since I Had RNY Gastric Bypass 14 Years Ago,

Ever since I had RNY gastric bypass 14 years ago, I’ve had these episodes no one can seem to explain. I’ll start to feel unfocused/can’t concentrate. My mouth, particularly my tongue, gets numb and tingly, as do my fingertips. I get weak and shaky and feel like I’m about to pass out. For about 20 minutes, I’m freezing cold/can’t get warm, then the next 20 I’m so hot, sweat runs down my back and I can’t cool off. And for the duration, I just feel terrible. But they pass, usually about after 45 mins, and I am back to normal.
I do have chronic anemia since the surgery, Vitamin B deficiency, and chronic inflammation most recently attributed to lupus. But no one has been able to help me with this “Numb Mouth”, as my family calls it.
