Every Late Afternoon, Evening For The Past 3 Days My

Every late afternoon, evening for the past 3 days my throat gets progressively sorter. No temperature. I have a persistent cough. Voice a little hoarse. Sore throat nearly goes away during the day. It is like I have been trying to get a full-blown cold for the past week, but am somewhat successfully fighting it. Can a cold include an on again off again sore throat? I also cough up a greenish color mucus, but mainly when waking up.
