Every So Often I Get A Bright White Spot In

Every so often I get a bright white spot in my vision that starts off low and mild but enflames into a bright white light. At the same time or shortly after it has disappeared I usually get a hot flash and sweating with a weird feeling in my chest. Is this a sign of an irregular heart beat or a start of a heart problem showing up in my vision? I have had a echo and stress test in the last 2 years and everything seems fine but it seems with stress from my mother passing and other stress factors it seems to be getting more frequent.
