Fever Post Car Accident My Friend Had A Car Accident

Fever post car accident
my friend had a car accident , obtained mild bleeding on the frontal and temporal lobe of the brain, posterior acetabular fracture. 1 week after being hispitalized, he had high temperatured that even reaches to 40 . He had blood and tracheal aspirate infections which are already covered by strong antibiotics and antifungals..hhis blood c/s is now free from infection and he was on antibiotics for 2 weeks... CT SCAN, BONE SCAN, XRAYS shows no significant cause for the fever... and yet still his fever does not drop down. His GCS now is 14/15.... what else can possibly cause the temperature to rise this high? Thanks a lot.
