Finger Very Sensitive From Pine Needle ,cleaning Out Some Dirt

Finger very sensitive from pine needle ,cleaning out some dirt from my plants I removed the whole needle but it was swollen and dark red/purple . Isqeezed some dark brown pus kept my finger in hot water and applied Polysporin. But still sensitive to touch puncture I is very close to fingernail I tried to open the puncture hole to be able to disinfect but swelling down a little what should I do????
