First I Had A Few Minor Head Injuries, Then For

First i had a few minor head injuries, then for about 5-7 months i had been depressed, then i had overdid it while drinking (a fifth of vodka). bad idea. that made the depression worse. Now i have this burning sensation inside my brain and even when i am in good moods, this burning pain is followed instantly by depression. What is this? Is it short term and fixable? or is this what depression is really like? Please let me know what you think. Thank You. i should also mention that these burning pains that induce depression are constant throughout the day unless sleeping.
