First Injection In The Lower Portion Of The SI Joint

First injection in the Lower portion of the SI joint was not much releif in the first several hours like they hope from the numbing med in the steroid, but in 10 days started doing ok from there on. The second injection a couple months later was in the upper part of the SI joint wich is where my pain is more centered around the top of joint. With this injection it was good after first 8 hours from numbing med with the steroid, but the next day on flarred up the burning pain I usually have and made it more painful, a burning pain at right SI joint still 13 days after injection . Pain levels between 4 and 7 constantly. Injection was in the Upper portion of Joint closer to where the pain is coming from. What's going on? Would be greatful for some opinions as I have had for 16 years and has bee real bad the last 6 to 8 years. Was originally diagnosed as possible spine problem but had laser spine surgery in L5 S1 area and that did not fix the problem and the doctors have mostly ruled out any spine problems at this point. They have done enough movement pain tests for a positive SI problem. The joint pops when I pull my leg/knee back and forth to my chest. Thanks for any info!
