Fistulotomy 1 Week Ago. Small Amount Of Sphincter Division, With

Fistulotomy 1 week ago. Small amount of sphincter division, with incision about 1.5 inch long. Several stitches used to narrow wound for healing. Advised to apply antibiotic ointment to the wound and use gauze pads for drainage.

No pain first 2 days until bm and then minor pain (3/10) that passed in about 10 min.

Day 3 I noticed the wound had widened a little (tracked by use by selfie function on my phones camera). I found one of the stitches dissolved onset wipe as I was cleaning after a bm. Started having more pain periodically.

Day 7 the would appears to have opened a lot more overnight to about 1/2 inch width. A lot of pain as it feels like stitches are pulling through.

Did my stitches hurt from dissolving, or did they actually tear through my skin? Is it normal for the wound to open as it heals from the inside? Thank you.
