Five days ago, I completed a 14 day regimen of cipro and flagyl to treat a flare-up of diverticulitis. Two days ago I began to experience severe abdominal swelling after eating even very light meals. Yesterday I returned a liquid diet, and now I have diarrhea. Having been through many bouts of diverticulitis and antibiotic regimens, I've never experienced these post-treatment symptoms. Should I see my doctor?
