Five weeks ago I had a Mirena IUD placed for heavy peri menopausal bleeding from adenomyosis and a fibroid. Over the last week I have been experiencing nipple and breast tenderness and quite a bit of cramping. Is this from the hormone in the IUD how long can I expect this?
