Food Seems To Get Stuck In My Esophagus Past My

Food seems to get stuck in my esophagus past my wind pipe so I can still breath. When it is really stuck water will not go down and takes a long time to go to the stomach. I have tried to throw up to get it out but did not work to get a vomit. Know I am scared to eat.
