For A Bit Now My Ears Have Neen Plugged With

For a bit now my ears have neen plugged with ear wax. I just went to a doctor and he did some stuff. Started picking out chunks and used water to flow out most of the remaining ear wax. He scratched the inside of my ear. He said it was just a surface and not the ear drum itself. I asked him will i be ok and it said yes. I just want a second opinion and if i should do anything to make sure my ears are 100% safe
