For About 6 Months Now I Have A Radiating Contraction

For about 6 months now I have a radiating contraction type of pain that emanates from what feels like the center of my bones. Like a contraction in labor where the pain starts out as somewhat bearable and then increases in its intensity with a tightening cramping feeling and then there is that eventual sense of relief but then starts over again. My doctor is stumped. Xrays seemed alright and the only thing the blood test showed was that I was 263 above normal for inflammation of the blood vessels whatever that means. Now you need to know that whatever this pain is it has the power to bring me to my knees in tears. It drives me out of my mind. I have several illnesses that cause me tremendous pain and for which I am already on several pain medications for. Enough pain medication that I should not be feeling anything let alone to the degree in which this bone pain is causing me. I can't even begin to imagine what this bone pain must feel like if I wasn't already on a pain med regimen. Lets put it this way if was not able to take a combination of Vicodin Midol and ibuprofin that seems to be the only way to subside this pain to what is manageable for me I would beg my husband to take me out to pasture like a horse and put me out of my misery. Do you have any idea what could be going on. Just so you know my other illnesses I have had anywhere from 15-25 years so I am fully aware of the different pains that I suffer from them so there is no chance that this has anything to do with those and this started up about 6 months ago and my doctor and I tried to see if there was a medication change addition or reduction that could be responsible. The only thing he thought could be was zocor so we stopped that for 3 months and then we resumed with me taking it again because it was not the culprit.
