For About 7 Weeks, I've Noticed A Long Hard Mass

For about 7 weeks, I've noticed a long hard mass underneath my left rib cage. At first it wasn't painful so I wasn't too worried about it, however, for the past few weeks I've stared getting sharper pains that span along my upper abdomen. I'm also vommiting frequently (especially after eating).

I don't get paid sick time at work and do not want to take time off to see a doctor unless that is the only way this situation can be remedied. Any thoughts on what could be causing this, what it could be, and how soon I should get to a doctor? Also is this a PCP visit or a GI visit?
