For Many Years I Successfully Took Lanoxin, With No Side
For many years I successfully took Lanoxin, with no side effects.
Then about two months ago, I was switched to diltiazem 240mg with no side effects.
Then this week, our insurance prescription provider substitued Cartia XT 240 mg capsules for the diltiazem.
Over the past 5 days, I have taken Cartia XT 240mg capsule two different times, on an every other day basis.
After taking the second dose, I woke up with sore, bloodshot eyes. The redness has not gone away, and
my eyes are very uncomfortable, remaining bloodshot night and day.
IS this a reaction to the Cartia XT, and does it seem advisable to cease this medication?
