For Over A Year Now My Left Ear Sounds Like

For over a year now my left ear sounds like ive paced my finger in it/over it or placed a cotton ball in it to block out sound. Several years ago I had an inner cochlea ear infection which made the whole side of my neck swell up as well. Since then the past two years I get "out of the blue"ear aches that hurt more underneath the actual elope on the side of my neck underneath/behind my earlobe. Lasting usually between 15 to 30 minutes sometimes a little bit longer but not very often .
All the doctors who have looked at it say there's nothing wrong with it.
I've tried several OTC drugs, nasal sprays, & everything in between and it still won't go away. Ive even tried peroxide, alcohol & swimmers ear- basically alcohol as well and nothing seems to work ive even tried breathibg excercises through my nostrils. I can't even sing anymore
Its driving me literally crazy! Affecting my moods!
