For Several Months I Have Had Episodes Of Spontaneous Diarrhea

For several months I have had episodes of spontaneous diarrhea for no reason I can explain. One episode may not occur for several weeks. There seems to be no trigger for it. I'm a Stage 4 Kidney Disease patient so am careful with my diet. For no reason, my stomach feels a little gas, then I must get to the bathroom in a hurry! The stool is very soft...like soft baby poop?...It happens just once then not again for several weeks. I am 72, not overweight.
