For Some Reason This Morning My Throat Started To Hurt

For some reason this morning my throat started to hurt when I take deep breaths and sometimes normal breaths with a slight pain when I swallow and I assume this area is around my trachea. I don't smoke cigarettes but I do smoke marijuana on occasion but this pain has never occurred before. If it could be from the smoke why wouldn't it have shown up the day after I smoke last (Saturday, today is Monday) and it show up two days after? I don't think it pertains to the smoke because this has never happened before in the many times I've smoked, just slight lung pain not specifically the trachea.
