For the last 3-4 years I've had a problem with getting motivated to do things I used to do automatically. Such as; routine house cleaning, mowing my lawns, going to the gym to name a few. I'm 59, retired Navy after 28 years of active duty, single, no children. I bought my home in 2004 , after I retired, and for the first few years I worked on improving my home, and keeping it clean. After awhile I noticed it was taking more and more effort to get motivated to do everyday chores. I work as an industrial maintenance technician which I enjoy the work. At work, I get things done, but, on the way home I''ll tell myself I need to do this or that, but when I get home nothing. As an example, it took me almost 3 weeks to change out a burnt out light bulb in my kitchen. My mind wants to get moving but I don't. Any ideas??
