For The Last 4 Yrs Every Few Weeks My Foot

For the last 4 yrs every few weeks my foot swells, and is pink and hot to the touch. Usually the skin is itchy. It only lasts for 2 days. Usually it starts with big toe pain & sweling but not always. Sometimes it begins on the top of my foot and sometimes on the sole and spreads to the side or on top. Sometimes it swells up to my ankle. I've had my uric acid checked & that is not a problem. Usually it affects the right foot, but sometimes the left. I cannot find a connection as far as an allergy to meds or foods etc.
