For The Last Few Months I've Had An Itchy Anus.

For the last few months i've had an itchy anus. I dont scratch but i've had a look down there and where the cheeks meet the skin is swollen and purple, but pale. It almost looks like a burn right before it blisters. I'm too embarrassed to go to my doctor. I know its no kind of STI. Any ideas?
