For The Last Few Years My Personal Physician Had Me

For the last few years my personal physician had me on a hypertension daily medication regimen of Amlodipine 10mg taken with Quinapril 40mg. Sadly this doctor recently passed away, and shortly afterward my Amlodipine prescription expired. I still have an active Quinapril prescription. Is it safe for me to continue taking the Quinapril daily WITHOUT the Amlodipine? (I am in the process of finding a new doctor, but my question pertains to right now.)
