For the last six years I have been suffering from a multiple of symptoms. 1) Started with a hemorrhoid that eventually seemed to heal. 2) Continue to suffer from burning rectum, primarily when I sit over a long period of time, and when I have more than one daily bowel movement (Vast majority of days). 3) Bowel movements of different shapes, colors, and consistency (Sometimes followed by excreting mucus). 4) Foul smelling gas. 5) Bright yellow, and foul smelling urine. 6) Greasy feeling face upon waking in the morning. 7) Foul odor in general. 8) Food sensitivities (Primarily sugar, dairy, and carb's). I had a colonoscopy after two years of the onset of the symptoms, and was told initially that I had a no polyps, and instead had a touch of food poisoning. I questioned the diagnosis, and then was told that I might have colitis. I saw a different doctor, this time I was told that I have Irritable Bowel. I also visited with someone that works with nutrition and he told about my food sensitivities. I have been on dicyclomine (Once daily for three years, and twice daily for the last two years. I also take a handful of supplements each day. I have altered my diet to mostly vegetables and meat, and went from a healthy 205lbs to a skinny 175lbs ( I am 6'3"). I walk two miles every day, I stretch every day, weather permitting I ride a mountain bike, jog, or swim. About fifteen years ago I had lower back surgery. Overall my back now feels pretty good. Other than the symptoms just described I feel pretty healthy. Any idea as to what causes these symptoms, and how to treat them? Thanks, Kurt
