For The Last Week Or So I Have Been Experiencing

For the last week or so I have been experiencing chest pain, a tightness on the left side of my chest that won't let me take a deep breath. It feels like there is a knot or something pulling tight in my chest. I am a female, age 59. I have no jaw or back pain, but this pain stops me from moving very much. What could this be?
