For The Past 2 Years I Have Suffered Severe Pain

For the past 2 years I have suffered severe pain in my legs around my knee. Had total knee replacement R & L in 2008. The joint itself isn't painful, it seems like it is the mussels or tendons maybe around the knee. Walking is painful but tolerable. However going upstairs brings tears to my eyes, going downstairs very painful but no as bad as going up. Also, same extreme pain when setting down in a chair and even worse standing back up. I've been told I have chronic pain, learn to live with it
