For The Past 3-4 Months I've Had Pain In My

For the past 3-4 months I've had pain in my right middle finger. When I push it down (as you would do if you're trying to crack you knuckle) I have a sharp pain as if it is bruised or something. I'm unable to push it down without pain. I thought it would subside, but it isn't doing so. No pain in any other finger.
