For The Past Few Weeks, I Have Had Mild To

For the past few weeks, I have had mild to severe joint pain, swelling and tingling in my fingers ( Especially my thumbs) and pain in my palms and the backs of my hands. It came in suddenly and it is in both hands and all fingers except my pinky. I had thyroid cancer and had my thyroid out in January 2013. Could this pain be because My thyroid levels are off?
