For the past four months, I have experienced sharp pains underneath my left breast--frequency was once a week; now its occurring every few days. Normally, I get nauseated. No specific activity offsets it. Over the last couple of weeks, I'm very fatigued, stomach seems to be bloated-enlarged. I have eaten shrimp for 56 years, and over the past months I can't eat them. My taste buds have changed--my family has noticed. For over a week now, I don't crave any food. Sometimes the pain last for 30 to 45 minutes and I usually sit down or be still until it subsides. For over 5 yrs., I have been taking Nexium for Acid Reflux and doesn't resemble that at all. I don't do a lot of burping or passing gas. Sometimes my breathing is affected and my chest feels heavy. I do not have any serious ongoing health problems. Always been pretty healthy. Went to the doctor yesterday and will be abdominal ultrasound on Friday. I'm not quite sure when or if I should go to the hospital--last Saturday it happened in a retail store and I sat down for a while.
