For Two Days Now, I Occasionally Smell Something Like Electrical

For two days now, I occasionally smell something like electrical wire burning or smoldering, yet I cannot find a source and it's not in one location. My husband does not notice it, and gets right where I am to see but by then it's gone. Not sure what's going on, have checked everything in the house and no burning that I can find. Might this be a sign of something going wrong with me neurologically?
