For Two Months I Have Been Seeking An Appointment With

For two months I have been seeking an appointment with my doctor regarding my ADD. She refused to make an appointment to see me. I had another appointment, per chance, for tetanus shot a week ago. She's a DO, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. I was sold on going to a DO because the way I understood it was they treated the body as a whole. Well she doesn't. She referred me to a psychiatrist which I was more than happy to go see.
Unfortunately, this psychiatrist was on her own agenda. She was very precise with the whole fifteen minutes and it didn't leave time to learn about me. I am 48 years old. I know what I am feeling. I know what has worked in the past. For some unknown reason she decides I need a sleep study to R/O OSA. I do not suffer from sleep apnea in any form. If she could have spared a couple more minutes to ask questions, this could have been determined. I don't know what she expects to get out of it other than a kickback?
At this point I am beyond frustration. My "physical" doctor thinks it's mental, my "mental" doctor thinks it's physical.
This is my last hope to attempt to stay sane. The last time to reach out for help within the medical field. What should I do to get the medication and treatment I need?
Sincerely, Dayna
