Fractured Neck Of Femur Had Kuchner Rod In Previously 40

Fractured neck of femur had kuchner rod in previously 40 years ago for mid thigh fracture when neck broken rod removed a relic and pin inserted with 2 screws from hip to femur quite large gap between 3rd monthly check was starting to come together but feel progress has stopped and going backwards is this normal or how long will heeling take and what should I do
