Friends Say I May Have Tendonitis In My Hand. It

Friends say I may have tendonitis in my hand. It started hurting about 6 PM yesterday and was very painful to lift or to turn. A little swelling. I iced it, took tylenol and used a topical arthritis medication. It was better this morning. Through the day it has swollen more and makes a popping noise, like snapping your fingers, when I turn it.
