Good Afternoon I Am An Endurance Cyclist 66 Years Old

Good Afternoon

I am an endurance cyclist 66 years old who used to regularly cycle 130 miles in one day with a couple of short stops for rest and sustenance. I had noticed that my bp monitor indicated that I occasionally had AF but could feel nothing, Mentioned to my doc he said all ok just keep an eye on it, That was about a year ago. In May this year I went into persistent AF and put on Bisoporol and had a successful Cardioversion, At the followup the Consultant said that my resting heart rate was much too low at 45, that is up for me I am normally 40, he took me off the bispoporol and within 4 days I was back in persistant AF. My second Cardioversion is due tomorrow, and I am now concerned as to how soon I should get back to training / exercise.
