Just ckng in general what the therapeutic dosage would be for a
26 yo 230# male diagnosed with severe autistic d/o. He continues to h ave uncontrollable outbursts and is in significant distress. He is at risk to be suspended from his day program as they have made several calls to the Residential Facility to pick him up. Currently he is prescribed divalproex 500 mg 2 tab PO at bedtime and Abilify 5 mg in a.m. and 2 mg in am, Lorazepam 3 mg PRN for agitation. No other health problems except high cholesterol, Insomnia.
