Good afternoon,
I believe that i have a tear in my ear drum. I have all the symptoms and my ear has been draining for several days. I have lost 80 % of hearing in right ear. I can only hear ringing. I have been taking 500 mg amoxicillin three times a day for the last three days.
My questions are,do i need antibiotic ear drops as well,or will the pills suffice?
How long does it usually take to fully drain?
