Good Afternoon, I Would Like A Medical Opinion On Something

Good afternoon, I would like a medical opinion on something I've noticed lately. My ankles are swollen but primarily on outside just below my ankle bone. It almost appears to be swollen "pockets", if that makes any sense. It is also swollen on the other ankle as well. I'm overweight for my bone frame - I would estimate at least 30 lbs overweight. At heavier weights, I do tend to swell/retain water. Could this be the reason for this swelling.
