Good Afternoon, I've Been Sick And Coughing For Over A

Good afternoon,
I've been sick and coughing for over a week now and it doesn't seem getting better. I'm taking Theraflu but it doesn't help. I feel something stuck in my throat that makes me cough. Please let me know what I need to do. Thanks so much for your help.
