Good day Doctor. I have been on high doses of cortizone for 5 years for severe ulcerations in my mouth. I also have Lipoid Proteinosis, but medical research cannot proof if the ulcerations or necrotic areas was caused by the syndrome. I tried to taper it down slowly, but as soon as I come to the lower mg, the ulcerations became worse, so I had to go back to the high doses again and again ( for 5 years). I had each and every side effect of cortizone! Now after 2 years off the cortizone, I am diagnosed with very low adrenal function and chronic fatigue syndrome. Can the cortizone still be in my body and what can I do to get it out completely and quickly so that I can just start to have a little bit of energy again and get back my life??? Thank you for your attention. Kind regards Louisa
