Good Day. I Am Writing On Behalf Of My Mother.

Good day. I am writing on behalf of my mother. She suffered a fractured wrist. Her hand is in cast which is now about 4 weeks. The cast was changed last week after 3 weeks since incident. However, we notice her hand swells, not too significant but obvious. She does not complain about pain but do experience pain when applied pressure or accidently being hit.
Can you please advice methods to reduce the swelling and the possible consequences of such swelling. Thanks you.
